I went to purchase a car on the evening of February 15. I successfully completed buying the car, i. E, filling out the paperwork, etc. I did not take delivery of the car.
I came back to the dealer on 2/17/03. I had decided that I did not want the car due to predatory lending terms of the loan. The dealer refused to take the car back, saying that they were just going to impound the car and report to the credit bureaus that it is a voluntary repo.
I tried to explain the situation to them but they refused to take the car back. I am under the impression that I have a 3 day right to rescind if I so choose to do. I have already filed a report with the better business bureau, and I plan on being a public relations pain in their ass, because I have the power to do so.
