IF you go online and see 3w marketing, titan marketing, magnum marketing, spartan management team, choice promotional group, CAM advertising... Stay away... They are all linked and do the same illegal activity.
I worked there for 4 months and the only benefit I got out of it was to learn what to look for in the future. I was young and need for a job and saw their add for sports marketing and it sounded good so I gave it a shot. I know the whole system so read this and decide for yourself.
You apply online. You will get a call back that day or the next day. You go in for the first round interview which may be by the owner of 3w named doug asher or one of his managers brenden, darcy or some other young person. They will barely ask you anything about yourself they will talk to you and tell you that 30 people are interviewing and they want to call back 6 or 7. I was a leader there the truth is they schedule all 30 to come back. Your second round interview will be from 10-830. You wil be taking out on a door to door or business to business shadowing day where you watch someone solicit illegally. They will tell you that you get 500 a week or somethin like that. Its 100 percent commision. If you work in home improvement you go door to door and try to get people to sign up for free estimates.
They will tell you over and over again that they only want 2-3 people to get the job. The truth is 95 percent of the people who interview realize what is going on and leave. Now the company DOESNT GET PERMITS to solicit which is illegal. If you get stopped by the cops which happened to me almost every day in the last 2 months of working there the company says you are an independant contractor and they hold no responsibility. Once the day is done they offer you the job but pressure you to start in one day or less than a week.
If you start you solicit illegally business to business or door to door. You take your own car and have to drive multiple people who they keep trying to bring in. You have to use your own phone and pay your own gas. You only get paid on the amound of certificates you sell while you get $9 or the leads you generate for home improvement. If you get written up twice in a township you will get fined 300 or 400 dollars. The company will refuse to pay and Doug or another manager will yell at you for having a negative attitude. They curse people out and say if you cant hit your sales goals there you should go kill yourself cause you are a worthless piece of shit.
There is no salary and no benefits. They dont pay taxes so if you try this job out you better save accurate records so you dont get in trouble with the IRS. Even if you are on doing extremely well and avoid the police and make 600 a week you need to pay for your own taxes, your own benefits, your own phone and car (which you will use everyday with this job) and cover lunches everyday. The hours are 9 am - 9 P.M. Monday to Friday and 9am to 6 p. M saturday. There were day I would not get home until 1030 or 11 P.M. And make 50 dollars for the day.
Doug Asher will manipulate you into signing a independant contractor form. The truth is independant contractors make their own hours and only have to report to an office once a week. You are required to be there at 9 A.M. Everyday and work till 8 door to door and then go to the office for another hour and half. If you ask about taxes or permits or you get kicked out by the cops you will get cursed out and harrased. They change the name all the time.
After 4 to 5 months 99 percent of people who work there leave because of all the debt they mount up. ALl the meetings all about how much money you can make and how you shouldnt worry about your financial situation now because in 2 years you will be worth a million dollars or something stupid like that. They encourage you to spend less and less time about family because they will only ruin your chances of making a lot of money. They force you to go on roaptrips to other offices and sleep on floors to help solicit for their other locations.
You pay for everything yourself. They cover nothing. It is all apart of SMART CIRCLE. There is no employment contracts and if you ever need to have one day off they curse you out and rip you apart. STay away and be careful of these places
