I recently worked for Lexero Marketing in Jacksonville FL. What a scam. I feel like a fool for even working there. The whole thing is a scam. I found the ad for the job on monster under the sports and recreation section. They say it is an ad for a marketing position. IT IS A DOOR TO DOOR SALES JOB! The whole place is a cult.
I went in for my first interview. This is basically to make sure you are in your twenties and that you are breathing. The whole thing took 10 minutes. They then ask you back for a second interview the next day. I should have known something was up when I called in to set up my interview and they said they could see me within 3 hours. What kind of real company does that? Also, I responded to an ad for Worthy Marketing, but ended up interviewing for Lexero, who shared the office with Worthy. Well, anyway, I went back for the next interview, which is a full day with one of the other people that work there. They tell you that the door to door part of the job is only 10% of what you do. It is all you do!
What they don't tell you is that you work 14 hour days, 8 of them going door to door. You work on straight commission. You get NO Health benefits, NO salary, and do not get reimbursed for gas that you use when you go out to sell door to door. They also don't tell you that you work 6 hours on Saturdays. The whole time people will be very nice to you, because they don't want you to quit. This is how they get you to stay. I also should have known something was up when they constantly kept doing interviews. They have to do this because of the high turnover rate in the "business". They also don't say anything about being a part of Cydcor, renowned for there bad business practices.
The office is also crappy. A 3 room area with nothing on the walls but pictures from Cydcor Magazine. The copier looked like it was the first on off the line in 1950. The walls were nicked and dented and stained. There were 2 computers in the whole office. No one gets a desk or a work area.
After leaving I was paid about half of what I should have. But since it was all commission, there was no way to trace that I was right. They keep you in buy selling you on the "opportunity" that one day you will own your own company and do the same thing to other people. Again, it is a cult. If everyone was so rich and making so much money, then why did they all live together in 4 bedroom apartments? If you want a real job or a job that gives you benefits, don't work here. You will also have to move about 4 times in a year if you stay with a company. Oh, they don't reimburse you for moving expenses either.
Please don't work there. Get a good job that takes care of you if you work there. Don't be taken advantage of like I was. Take care everyone.
