I placed an order with Teleflora for two seperate Christmas arrangements on November 23 to be shipped on December 21. My credit card was charged for the purchase and I received an email confirmation and order number. I thought everything was ok with the order since I had paid for the order... Not so!
On December 20, Teleflora called me and asked if they could charge me an additional $5.00 for the order because it was going to cost more to deliver the flowers. I told them they could not charge me more. Then they asked if I would pay an additional $3.00 to have the flowers delivered, again I said no. I asked to speak to a supervisor.
When the supervisor got on the phone she asked for an additional $10.00 to send the order. I refused and explained to her that I had already paid for the order in full as per their invoice. At this point, she told me Teleflora would take care of the additional charge. I was upset that Teleflora was not standing by their advertised prices and discounts but it's Chirstmas and I had other things to deal with... The arrangement was going to be shipped.
The next day (December 21) I received an email stating that my second order could not be filled! They did not give advance notice of this, nor did they offer any suggestions. I remind you that I have already paid in full for the flowers. At this point, I cancelled the order with Teleflora and moved on...
In all I placed 4 flower orders for this Christmas. I used FTD for the other two orders and there wasn't a problem - at all! Teleflora is running a 100% scam! There are MANY online florists so save yourself the headache of dealing with this company.
