TCRM has a lawsuit against us stating we are trying to "extort money " from them.interesting how the president of the company, Leslie Agisim, stated the exact definition of "bait and switch" as what they did to us.
She said her idea of bait and switch is to change the terms of the loan at the last minute, but they don't do things like that.
That is exactly what happened to us. Would you want to spend between $10,000-11,000 on closing costs and then right before closing be told "lender would own 90% of the land and you get to own 10% and it is going to cost you another $2500 to open an LLC corporaton".
Have talked to several attorneys and they have never heard of such a thing. These are real estate attorneys. The money we are demanding in our counter to their charges is asking for lost time, loss of money etc. Has nothing to do with extortion, just what is fair. Will keep you posted.
