IWorks - Grant Professor - Universal Coaching - Erik Bullock - Kristen Diaddigo
Deceptive, Dishonest, Ripoff

Hmmm-Johnny Palmerson-He's a new name. I didn't know there was someone higher than Ryan Riddle.

It took him long enough to come forward. Where was he when I wanted my refund within 3 days after I realized what the deal was.

The Grant Gate program that was sent to me didn't come until a week after I bought the Grant package. There was nothing to work with before the refund period ended until I received the program.

Once I was shown how to get into the Grant gate software program & how to fill in the blanks, it wrote the letters for me, so I didn't really need to be taught how to do it, so no need for a mentor. That was just an extra expense they were tacking on.

I was not contacted by anyone from Iworks until 4 days after buying the package, but I had already started the process of trying to get a refund.

I was told then that they would teach me how to get the grant. I told them that I didn't want to be taught how to do it, that I was lead to believe that they wrote the Grants after I gave them my info.

To keep me from pursuing a refund I was told that they would help me write it and change my mentor to a different style of teaching.

I was lead to believe I needed to sign an agreement that they would proceed differently. They should have been signing the agreement. I didn't understand why I had to sign an agreement.

I have been trying to get a refund for 3 months.

People at Iworks used tactics to keep from responding to my requests. The ones that were used were not being available, not in the office today, busy with other clients, won't be in till Friday, etc. Etc.

Right after I informed Kristen I was canceling the whole deal, the phone calls & emails stopped. I emailed several times, but no response. I have 23 e-mails attempting to get some response.

I still have the emails to prove how many I sent.
When I finally received an email from Kristen, It was written as though it was a computer-generated email.

Iworks employees made this refund problem long & drawn out until they had the excuse that I had not tried to cancel within the time stated.

The refund time limit seems to change, depending on how much time has elapsed when the consumer wants to cancel. I have read all the paper work twice trying to find where it says I can cancel & get a refund within 30 days and I cannot find it anywhere.

The Certificates of Title included in the kit do not seem to apply to my program. The "Platinum Series" says the mentor will do the research. The "Executive" mentoring sessions certificate says the sessions will focus on promoting me as a note broker. What ever that is.

I did send off about 30 letters to organizations in the northwest trying to find one that would be interested in giving me a grant.By the way the mentors didn't teach me how to write these letters, the grant gate program did it for me, I just filled in the blanks.

Every letter I got a response to, told me that they only gave grants to 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizations. Some letters came back with a "no such address" message on them.

I told my mentor, Bryan, that the program was outdated & that I also had to be a 501 (c) (3) org.in order to get a grant. He said yes, that I would have to become one or partner with one.

Also I read in the information that none of the grant money could be used to pay for the expense of acquiring the grant. I think it was in the grant gate software.

I told Bryan that I was not told I would have to change my status in order to get a grant, that I was not going to change my status for this, that I wanted to continue the refund process as I did not qualify for this program that I should have been told this before I purchased it.

He agreed that the program was outdated. He was going to send me the new update version. When reading carefully about the info attached to the list of names on the program they all require you to be either a non-profit or charitable organization.

I contacted the IRS & was told that was true. If I became a non-profit or charitable organization in order to get a grant would be Fraud, which they would not hesitate to prosecute. So this is a scam.

IRS regulations prohibit government and corporate grants to private individuals for money to use for business startup, repairing, remodeling, building a house &/or debt reduction.

I printed out the information from the IRS website on 501 (c) (3) organizations. It is under IRS publication 557. It lists the types of organizations, foundations and charities that qualify for government grants.

These organizations have to have bylaws, file report, elect officers and etc. Like a real corporation.

There are small grants for individuals. Going to local offices like energy assistance, PUD, telephone, & colleges does these.

This is not a process that takes a mentor.

You make an appointment and go in and fill out papers and if you qualify they contact you and pay your bills or what ever. But they do not send you a check.

I did not know who to contact about getting a refund until someone on usacomplaints.com told me to contact Ryan Riddle. That I would gladly be given a refund which isn't quite right. Ryan Riddle is only willing to give me 50% of my cost, which is $3400.00.

He claims he has incurred costs for the software, mentoring & commissions. I am willing to send the software back to him as it is worthless. The mentors only taught me how to get into the "Grant Gate" software to fill in the blanks. But it has no value as the software is worthless.

I would like Johnny Palmerson to contact me and get this resolved. He can contact me by using the rebuttal box below. I am Dave T. & I have been ripped off to the tune of $6800.00.
