I have recieved my bill this month with charges from USBI for Tralee Telephone Co. I did not give them permission to change my services ever. I have placed a call to My phone servicer SBC. They said they would put a hold on the charge, but I had to fight it out with this other company for a credit to the account. The gentelman was very helpful with SBC. He said that you have to fill out a form stating that you do not permitt any changes made to your account via a third party. This will prevent this from occuring. You will have to verbally consent to any changes or charges onto your phone bill in the future. Also when you speak to that company (USBI/TRALEE) tell them you want to hear your verbal agreement to this charge. If they in fact say that you have giving consent. This is a shame. How many others out there even have a clue as to, how to protect themselves? Something must be done to stop these indivduals that prey on people's pocket books.
