Washer Repair Complaint. The service repair time is very, very bad... Waited two weeks for repairman to come to repair the washer. Wasn't able to repair, parts had to be ordered. Transmission problems. Waited weeks for parts to arrive and then repairman Jim to arrive on 12/8 for repair. Large hole in transmission unit. Picture taken. On 12/19, washer broke down again. Washer filled with water, clothes everything stopped. Unable to start washer. Called Sears. Wanted me to wait two more weeks. Finally after I spoke my feelings regarding bad service ethics, they arranged for repairman to arrive on 12/22... I'm employed at a hospital and sometimes unable to take time off... I lost now 3 days of personal leave, plus the extra expense of weeks of using a laundry mat. I am very disappointed in the disregard of the client's time, feelings... Why can't an estimated time of arrival given? Waiting all day is restricting clients from leaving their homes. I am very unhappy with the service I have received. The cost of parts and labor were very high. I would like another washer/dryer unit. I feel I just purchased a lemon. Thank you for listening and hopefully caring about the resolution of this problem...
