Worst Repair Server - Terribly Undermanned - Kenmore Washe

Our Kenmore washer went out on Dec. 15. The earliest we could get a repairman out to diagnose the problem was Dec. 21, but were able to reschedule due to a cancellation on Dec. 18. The center arm on this 6-year old Kenmore washer's had rusted through and the tub was hanging by a third of the original arm. The repairman said we would have to wait 1 1/2 weeks for parts, but the parts came UPS in 2 days (all the way from El Cajon; only 30 minutes away %u2013 why couldn't the repairman just go get the parts?). Despite having the parts, the earliest the right (and I believe only) repairman was available was Dec. 28. On the afternoon of Dec. 28, we received a call that the repairman was not available and the earliest reschedule date was Jan. 8.

The repairman was professional, but the Sears repair service is grossly undermanned and totally unacceptable. I would not recommend this service to anyone. The last product I will ever buy from Sears.
