I have a Sears extended warranty on my washer and dryer. The washer is starting to have problems. I requested service on 9/14. The repair was scheduled for 9/22 b/t 1p-5p. At 1:00p on 9/22, the Tech for the dryer maintenance arrives and cleans my dryer. He advised me that someone else will repair the washer. He called his office and advised me that the washer Tech. Would arrive b/t 3-4p.By 5:45p the washer Tech had not arrived. I then called their service center and the customer rep said she would send him a message to call me. The Tech never called or showed. I 7:30p I get a call to reschedule my appointment. My next appointment date is 10/03. I never found out what happend to the Tech and if your tech is a NO SHOW, that is too bad you have to wait until they are in your area again. There is no time limit for service they can take as long as they like to service your appliance and they may not show up even though you are checking on their arrival with their office. Just another day of lost pay for you. I would think the any reputable company would have a floater to handle these issues when they occur.
