I called Geek Squad to repair a Frigidaire stack washer/dryer unit I'd purchased from Best Buy. When making arrangements for a service call, I told the phone agent that the washer/dryer is tucked in a corner of a laundry area and will be difficult to get at. She said she would note that on the service request. Now we fast forward to the day of the scheduled service and the technician calls me first thing in the morning to confirm the time. He was rude and abrupt when asking questions about warranty, the problem, etc. When he asked if I'd looked behind the dryer for something, I reminded him that unit was pushed into a corner. He THEN told me they (Geek Squad) can't pull the unit out, that I have to hire some to do it! Who ever heard of an appliance repairman who doesn't pull an appliance away from the way to service it, whether it be a stove, frig or washer. So, I've wasted four days waiting for this service, unable to use my dryer, and now have to start from scratch to find another repair service.
