I bought a cocktail table from Star Furniture. This table has a lift up top so that it can be used when standing. When I received the table, it had several spots that were not varnished and the mechanism for lifting the top was missing many parts. We had them deliver a replacement table. This second table had varnish, but it was scraped up badly. And, like the first table, had parts missing so that it would not lift up. The customer service person said that our "expectations are too high"!
After a few blatant lies and annoying attempts to get us to keep the crappy furniture, they finally came to pick it up; but still haggled over refunding our cost of delivery.
