Hello,
My family is awaiting a refrigerator scheduled to arrive at my residence by August 22. Based on the delivery time, in place by an on-line purchase by a Sears associate from within a Sears store, I scheduled the removal of our "old" refrigerator. The morning of delivery day, I received a call that the delivery was NOT available and the person didn't know when it would be available and their was no interim solution, such as providing a small, temporary fridge to hold milk for my four small children in the home. I requested to speak to a manager, but was told that no one was available. Despite the few hours of speaking to three different people, no one could offer any assistance and because I am disabled, it was not easy for me to go back to the store to cancel my order. The next day someone called me back promising a delivery of September 4 to which I agreed. The following day I received another call stating delivery of September 21. Each representative told me how sorry they were and each also guaranteed delivery. I had to request them not call me because I didn't have time or energy on a company represented by shiftless people, only capable of RECITING what is on a screen. No one could identify any problem and much less THINK of a solution. Since this process started I saw the price drop on-line at Sears, too.
