I purchased a Sears Maintenance Agreement for my dishwasher, range, and refrigerator in September.in November, I had a problem with my range. I called Sears repair, they came right out and fixed the problem.in April, my range broke again with the same problem. I repairman came out fixed the problem and left. The next day the problem occured again. I called Sears and set up an appointment for a repair. After I had taken the day off, the repairman called and said he didn't couldn't fix the problem because he didn't have the part. He was going to order the part and we set up another date for him to come to the house. The part arrived, the repairman came the next day, except he said the ordered part was damaged. He cleaned the broken part of the stove, and said he just needed a cleaning. Before he was out of the driveway, the stove broke again. Since then I have had two repairmen come to the house. Noone has been able to fix the range. I have called everyone and spent hours on the phone trying to get satisfaction from Sears. I have missed days of work waiting for repairmen to come to the house. It is the most frustrating experience I have ever had. I will never buy another Sears appliance. They are the worst people to deal with.
I have names and employee numbers, but that means nothing. I have actually been offered gift cards in exchange for my trouble and have never received them. Sears/kenmore... A Name you can Trust. Ha!
