Do not rent from Ceola McClendon (Los Angeles, CA) affiliated with Bilmore Square Condominiums (Phoenix, AZ). I never got my refundable deposit ($2000) back even though I abided by the contract.
These are the issues I have/am having with this real estate broker: unprofessional attitude, miscommunications/poor communications, overcharging, planting things in the apartment after I left and charging me for them, racism, ripping me off with the refundable deposit.
This is the incident: I signed this contract/lease particularly because I wanted a lease that was easy to break. Most leases put forth that there is a penalty fee plus a certain number of days in advance before leaving. Most residents in this area consider the Biltmore to be prestigious even though it is definately not the Biltmore Resort. I did not move into this area because I wanted any kind of status.
