Yes, you feel special when "nominated" for Biltmore's Who's Who! Then, you get "the call"...
I sat on the phone (at work, no less) and listened to how accomplished I am and what an honor it is to be included in Biltmore's Who's Who. Well, sure I'm great! But not $800 worth of greatness!
After I politely listened to all my options (and the monetary value of each option) I told them I could not afford between $200 and $800 for these "services" at this time. The "professional marketing manager" on the other end of the line hung up on me! I was so shocked, I sat there for a full 2 minutes looking at the phone. When I came to my senses, I promptly went online to BBB.com (where Biltmore Who's Who is NOT listed) then googled them to end up here.
What a misleading, rude encounter for simply having your name in a stupid book.
