I bought a riding lawnower with a briggs and stratton engine. It was 9 months old and the motor blew up. It had been taken 3 times before this final chapter to be worked on. The engine was less than a yr old and I contacted the main company, and they would not fix my lawnmower. So here I sat with a 2,000 dollar mower and no motor and still having to pay on the loan that paid the retailer for the mower and still cannot mow my yard. So please do not but briggs and stratton, all you will get is a run around and then no warranty. They will not stand behind their product.
