Ripoff furniture ordered on July 4 hasn't arrived by November 12 The stress of dealing with the company has put me over the edge

I ordered bedroom furniture as a birthday gift on July 4. I was promised delivery on September 7. On that day, two pieces were missing.

I complained to the company. To pacify me, the manager sent 2 used pieces. I asked the delivery men if the pieces were used. They claimed not to know. I was charged for new furniture at full price.

I complained again. The manager admitted he knew the furniture was used, but claimed it was the only way he could get it to me in a timely manner.

I called to set up an exchange. I was originally given the return date of October 6. That changed to the 10th,
then the 22nd, then November 12, and I was just told it would be Novemer 18. I ordered on the Fourth of July and will be lucky to have the full set by Thanksgiving.
The stress of dealing with the company has put me over the edge. I want to return the entire set and get my money back. I will then go to a reputable company. But Levitz said that I can't return it.

I have sent numerous letters of complaint as well as made several angry phone calls. The corporate office, located in Mesa, Arizona, has been totally unconcerned that the store manager charged me for new merchandise and sent me used. Isn't this against the law? They did not care at all about it. All they care about is getting the money.

Last night I spoke with a manager in Northridge. He let me rant for a time, then he stopped talking. I waited to see what would happen. I could hear people laughing and talking in the background. A couple of times, the mangager covered the mouthpiece and I could hear people laughing. Finally, he hung up on me.

I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau, the Los Angeles County of Consumer Affairs, and even Fight Back with David Horowitz. Any help that you can give would be greatly appreciated. I don't want anything to do with the company ever again, and I want the furniture out of my house. It makes me crazy to even look at the pieces I have. As far as I am concerned, they broke the contract the day the furniture was not ready as promised. They are totally unconcerned that I have been waiting over four months.
