On 7-24 I went to the Greensboro, NC Sears Store to purchase a Feather Lite Weed eater. The price was $69.99. After the associate checked he stated they had no more in stock. He contacted the Burlington, NC store at my request and stated they had 3 in stock. I went directly there, approximately 25 miles away. After arriving I noticed the item was $74.99 and questioned the associate about the price difference. He became agitated and stated "I don't make the price". I then asked for the department Manager. The manager came and began to argue with me regarding the item and the price and stated "That's the price " and some other words. Then the manager stated"I'm not dealing with you, you're a Bitch". I was livid. He then threatened me by saying "you wait here I got something for you" and continued into the stock room. After he returned from the stock room he stated "Yea I called you one and I'll do it again. I don't care who you call I'm not scared". I am told by the Store manager that H/R will do nothing because this manager has not done anything like this before. So how many time will he have to do this before they act? Bottom line all the first associate had to do was pick up the phone which was about 10 feet from him and call the Greensboro store to check the price. I have not mentioned names because I'm not sure if I can without consequence, but I have all party names involved.
