I ordered 2 "Deluxe" Slap Chop packages on the phone after watching "Vince" do his thing on TV! The automated voice system does not allow for you to speak to a human, thus you can't ask any questions like; how much will the shipping and handling cost? This is an important question! I ordered two of their packages, then got dinged $154.00 on my Visa!!! They also asked me, (again, the phone system) if I'd like to upgrade my Slap Chops to the "Deluxe" version, which are supposed to come with "Japanese" blades. Not!!! The package arrived a full 2 weeks after I ordered them (a week after Christmas, and even though I paid extra for priority handling!) and the Slap Chops looked just like the one I got from Christmas that a person bought from a "I saw it on TV!" store. The two Slap Chops are identical, both saying "Made in China" on the box!!! There was nothing to suggest that my "Deluxe" one was any different at all! I really hope that a class action lawsuit starts up on this as it just isn't worth my time to fight this over $154.00, but I still think these criminals need to be taught a lesson!
