On 7-24 I went into Sears to purchase a weed eater called feather lite. The first store I went into in Greensboro, NC had the product for $69.99, but was out of stock. The associate upon my request called the store in Burlington, NC which is approximately 25 miles away. I went directly to that store after being told they had 3 of the item in stock. After arriving at the Burlington store I noticed the price was slightly higher, so I questioned the associate about it who became very rude and stated "I don't make the prices". I then asked for a manager. The manager came and began to argue with me about the item and the price an exchange of words he called me a "Bitch" and stated that's the price and I'm not changing it. Well, an argument ensued and he stated " You wait right here I have something for you" I took this statement as a direct threat to my person. After the manager returned he stated " Yea I called you one and you can call who ever you want to I'm not scared". This is the way Sears allows their employees to speak to customers? This person was upper management. After speaking to Sears Manager at that location I was told by him that nothing would be done because this manager had not done anything like this before. Well, if he had beat the hell out of me do you think I would have gotten the same response? I think so. Not only did he called me a derogatory name, he threatened me as well. All Sears H/R Department can say is " Well he's never done that before, so."
