Major run-around in purchase and delivery of dishwashe

I tried to buy a dishwasher through Sears.com but web page would not proceed through check-out so after 3 attempts I gave up and looked up my LOCAL Sears store in Beaumont, TX. The operator I got had a heavy accent, and had difficulty entering any of my information correctly, but finally completed the order. Delivery was supposed to be in 5 business days, with a call the night before to confirm delivery. No phone call, no email, so I called back a week later. No record found. They said the item was out of stock, and very politely offered me the next higher priced model and honored the price, which had been placed during a 72 hr. Sale (10% off, no interest for 12 months). Delivery was scheduled for Friday, Feb. 15 (today) with a call the night before to confirm. Again, no call. I called today, no order found, etc. After speaking to 2 people who did not have a clue, I finally got a "Manager, " who had an attitude herself (so did I at this point). I found out that even though I called the local store, I was dealing with Sears.com for the order because it rolled over to them from the store, and they had delivery problems. She couldn't seem to tell me why no one else could have related that to me, or why they couldn't find the order. I found out the call center is in Manilla, Philippines... It figures. I finally got the manager at the Beaumont Sears, who was nice, suggested I cancel the.com order, and she'd have an associate from the store call me. I cancelled the.com order and the associate called. So far so good... Until we got to the price. The price was going to be $71 more than originally quoted, which was NOT OK, especially after everything I'd already been through. She put me on hold to "ask her manager." Ten minutes later it rolled over to a male, who was NOT her manager, who transferred the call back to her. She said she'd tried to transfer me to her manager. At this point, I told her to forget it, I'd just go somewhere else. I hate call centers. Customer Service no longer exists. Never do business with Sears. I never will again.
