We purchased a pool 4yrs ago from Leisuretime only to find out that most of the equipment was only available through them in this area.
We opened our pool a week ago and the water was nice and clear but we had a leak from the filter. We called some pool place and were told we probably needed a new O ring so we took the part to LOSERtime to get an O ring. The sales KID started digging the o ring out of the unit and tore it. He then went to get another one and came back empty handed—they didn't have any.
He dropped the entire unit on the floor and cracked it, tried to say he didn't crack it, and then finally admitted he was not a service person so we would have to leave the unit and he would have a service person repair it the next day.
We picked up the part the next day and when we connected everything up again we now had a leak at the top of the valve. We called LOSERtime and spoke to at least 5 different and very unhelpful and condescending people-none of whom were in management because they had all left for the day. A message was left for the service manager to call me the next morning and... Of course-no phone call, so I called him and was again treated poorly.
I was told I could either purchase a whole new unit for $89.99 or NOT! At no time did he offer any apology for the sales person's lack of knowledge and damage to the part. The next call was to the store manager who was just as condescending and rude as the employees. He said he would have to do some "looking" into the problem with the service manager and then call us after 2pm. Never got a call and when we called him at 4pm that day he had conveniently left for the day and no one else there knew anything of the situation.
The next call was to the corporate office and that was just as aggravating as all the rest. The customer service manager, who also claimed to be the top dog at the company, said she could do nothing until SHE talked to the service manager and then... We again were told there was nothing they could do we would have to pay for the part—even though there store employees broke it.
Our pool now looks like a pond with scum on top after a week of sitting. We will now have to buy tons of chemicals to clear the water. The morale of this story is do not buy anything from these people because you will never get decent service when you need it.
