I purchased a brand new bed and was offered a mattress pad that was to protect the mattress from stains. My dog peed on the bed and it went right through to the mattress. I filed a claim with the mattress pad company and they said I had to wait 7 to 10 buisness days for someone to come out and clean the mattress. After 9 business days I hadn't heard from them and contacted them again. They said I had to wait another 7 to 10 business days. I spoke to a supervisor at this point and then had an appointment for someone to come out the next day. The man came and took pictures of the mattress and acknowledged that he smelled the urine. He wiped the bed with a cloth and some chemical for about 5 mintues. He then left. The bed still smelled like urine. I contacted Guardian again and was told I had to wait for my letter. I received the letter and it stated that my claim was closed since they could not see a stain on my mattress and they were not responsible for odors.
