Terrible customer service, no concept of keeping to a schedule, poor workmanship

We contacted Window World and requested that they send and installer as well as a salesman to give us an estimate. The windows leaked so we knew we had to get them replaced but, we wanted to be sure that the installer knew the extent of the damage. The salesman came out, sans installer (they don't do that installer thing until they sell the windows) and were told that we would have no trouble with our tile in our kitchen when they put in the new windows. He guaranteed it. We paid them up front... BAD idea! They said 2-3 weeks to get them in.

When installation day rolled around, 4 weeks and several phone calls later, the windows weren't correct. Mind you they never called to say they were even in, I called them. The windows had to be re-ordered naturally but, they did put a rush on them and came out about 2 weeks later to install.

Everything went okay up until the kitchen window was put in. My tile wasn't fine after all. The window had to be moved in further to prevent leakage. Had the installer come out in the first place, as we requested, we would have known and been able to make sure they would fix this damage. We now have jagged grout, 3 inches less tile and they framed around the window with 3/4 inch baseboard trim.

Now this does NOT look good.in fact I think my 6 year old could have done it better! So, now a supervisor comes out to look at it. He says it looks bad and he'll fix it. I explained that I would have beem glad to get the grout and wood trim to use if we had known the tile were an issue but he assures me he will get it and fix it.
Today is the third day I have taken off work to get this taken care of, they were supposed to be here between 8-10 A.M. It is raining today but it's all indoor work and since they didn't call me I sat here until 11 A.M. At which point I called them. They aren't coming, they want to reschedule.

Now, having paid them $1800.00 for 4 windows, and lost 3 days of work I am not happy with these people.
They took our money gladly but when it came time to do the work properly they did NOT fulfill thier end of this deal. Calling the corporate office isn't worth the time either, just another blow off. Having done the math on this $1800.00 project it has cost us another $350.00 in lost wages waiting for them and now I have to take another day off and lose even more... My advise is to never pay up front with this type of project. I would bet they would have done it right and on time if we still owed them a balance. But they have our money and we have crappy looking windows!
