Multiple items purchased were defective, customer service ducking latest complaint Vero Beach Florida

When we moved to Florida recently we needed a lot of new furniture. On our first visit to RTG we ordered a reclining loveseat and couch. After the delivery guys (who were great) left, I noticed the loveseat "leaning" to one side. They sent someone out at their convenience, not mine (he was great), who said those pieces always do that, and he ordered us a new one. They delivered the new piece again at their convenience, and all was well... Until 2 months later when the filler in both pieces went flat. They sent another guy out (who was a twit) and I had to tell him how to repack the furniture. He said "this happens a lot". Hmmm...

Silly us, we saw a RTG ad for a breakfast table we loved, and ordered it. Shortly after it arrived (maybe 3 weeks), the fabric on one of the chairs started to unravel. They mailed us a new seat, which wasn't stain treated, so they sent a guy out (who was great) to treat and install it. Three months after receiving the table I noticed the table top veneer starting to lift. They sent a guy out (who was a dork) who looked at it, said "They'll call you in a couple days with the report" and left; that was the extent of his visit.

A week days later I called customer service who said, "Oh, he said the veneer lifted because you put a hot plate on the table". I swear to god she said that. After a brief conversation on dinner traditionally being served hot, she asked me to take pics of the table. I knew what was coming: They would look at my pics and say it wasn't a defect which I would then be expected to accept because, after all, I TOOK THE PICS. After resending the pics online several time (finally with a receipt requested) I finally got a call. I WAS RIGHT! I told the C.S.R. Allejandra that my photography skills were obviously lacking and she need to send another person out to physically look at my table.

Another service tech is due here Thursday. Wanna bet he says it's from a hot dinner plate? I think I'll laugh in his face if he does.

Meanwhile I've done my homework. This problem is generally caused by thin veneer on cheap plywood being left in hot storage areas causing the glue to deteriorate, or if the veneer is very cheap and extremely thin, moisure from a hot dinner plate or such can cause it to swell and lift over time. Either way they were not quality materials suited for their intended purpose.

I will update you after Thursday's visit. Even so, four service calls, two item replacements and an item repair already can't bode well for this visit...
