RE: Todd Pfeifle "repairman" for Just Fans

Here are the details of the events of repair request, by me, to your company and your "repairman" Todd Pfeifle the first week of June. I preface this letter with the fact that your service is unprofessional, unreliable and unsafe.
I had a ceiling fan in my living room that was very loose. During the first week of June I looked in the yellow pages of the Sarasota phone book and found a listing for Just Fans. I called them to request a repairman to come and fix the fan. They stated they had a repairman named Todd Pfeifle that would come look at it. On June 4th Mr. Pfeifle came to my home. I was entertaining. He stood on a ladder and took the fan down but stated my guests and myself could not smoke in my own living room. He took $60.00 cash and no receipt and gave me a home made business card stating his business was not Just Fans but Fans Plus. He took the fan down and said he didn't have the proper equipment to fix the brace for this ceiling fan and that he would "try" to fit me in for repairs "as soon as he could". We rescheduled for a morning appointment due to his need to get into the attic (which is false as the next repairmen did not need to access my attic and fixed the problem in 1 hour).
We rescheduled the appointment for AM on Saturday the 7th of June between 8 and 8:30am. Todd called to say he had a prior appointment before me that he had forgotten about ahead of me — a woman that needed a chandelier installed and he said he didn't know how long it would take but he would "try" to get to my job. I was accommodating and I asked if he could come on Sunday in the morning and he stated he didn't work Sunday. I understood and said I would try to work another appointment. Meanwhile this fan is sitting in the lanai while other work in my home commenced.
We rescheduled again for Saturday the 14th June and Todd stated he would be out of town for a long weekend and couldn't come but he would "try" to get to it. He stated upon his return he would install the fan on the 18th of June in the morning. I agreed to the morning for the repair. Todd called again on 17 June to inform me he had "forgotten" he had another job on that morning and didn't know how long it would take but would try to "get to it" in the afternoon, again. He also stated to have the number ready for EMT's as I might need their medical help for him, with the afternoon heat.
This "repairman" has rescheduled me numerous times and now is stating if he "has" to do the job in the afternoon I am looking at a potential lawsuit for heat related health issues on his part. The calls had become harassing and I was a bit scared of him at this point. His business card stated the name of the business he worked for was not Just Fans but was called Fans Plus and stated he was insured. There is no listing on the card for an address of the business or the insurance number or business license number. Fans Plus is not listed on the web or in the yellow pages. The only contact with this person is the cell number on the card (941) 586-2776 which traced to a highway in Fort Myers!
On June 18th I had another company come in, they were professional, well equipped, efficient, and repaired my fan in 1 hour without going in my attic. They gave me a receipt and left their cards with addresses, etc. I left the home then. On that day this Todd Pfeifle stated he sat in my driveway for 1 hour and called and called but didn't get an answer. I had no idea when he would have actually arrived and did not want to "call the emts". He came again to my home and left business cards in my newly painted door.
Then on 19 June answered the phone only to hear Todd's voice again I stated "do not call me ever again and the job is finished "do not every contact me again." That night he left a very long strange voice message on my answering machine at home, after I told him not to call, asking if we could talk about this situation. There is no "situation" and the job is done do not contact me, ever! I saved the tape and it is available for you to hear., the voice message is date and time stamped as well.
This entire incident and litany of events is ludicrous.
