American Home Shield (AHS)
AHS sent out electrician didn't want to do the work because of high ceilings. Ahs refused 2nd opinion

This happened to our rental in Huntersville, North Carolina. AHS sent out an electrician to fix fans in two rooms. Electrician filed report with AHS that there was no power to the fans and that they had been installed improperly. Both fans worked as of three months ago. Tenants live there and reported that the fans didn't work. However the one fan has a light and the light works... Gee - that must mean it IS getting power! The other fan is in the formal living room where the ceiling is very high. The electrician just didn't want to do the work. My property manager waited for the electrician to call or send a bid back to him. The electrician never called. The property manager then called AHS and had the representative say to him that he would override the first electrician and send out another one. No one ever appeared. The property manager contacted me and I, the owner, called AHS and they stated that as it was now 7 days past the first electrician coming out, that a 2nd opinion was not allowed. After talking to the supervisor, "Reginald P." and asking for corporate number, he REFUSED to give it to me! Great customer service. No where in the contract does it say you only have seven days to request a 2nd opinion. RIP OFF!!! I have thee rental units and have AHS contracts on all of them. I'll be cancelling them!!!

If anyone starts a class action suit against them, I'm IN!!!
