Yep, I am having the same type of problems with this company. All claims over $100.00 must be called in and approved. The approval office NEVER answers their phone - thus the contractor has to make a second trip to the site. An inconvenience to my tenants and to me.
They have paid OK on a few small claims - but when a big one came up - they flatly refused to authorize it using any and every excuse they could think of. When I protested, they became rude, accusatory and even hung up the phone on me.
They went so far as to accuse me of having my plumber write bogus service reports on the covered item. I have been yelled at, rudely interrupted, and am told that there is NO ONE ELSE I can speak to about the matter.
Unbelievable!!
