We had ordered 2 pallets of sod on the 1st of July, they told us it would be available for pick up on the 7th. On the 5th we had called them and told them we needed it on the 15th instead because our yard would not be ready until then. They then told us because of the rain in Houston, they would not recieve the pallets until the 14th anyway.
On the 14th my husband called the nursery to tell them that we would not be able to pick until the 16th because he had to work that day and we didn't have a trailer. They said that would be fine.
On the 16th we called them and told them we would be there after noon because the trailer we were borrowing from a friend would not be available until then.
My husband then called them at 1:30 to tell them we were on our way to pick up the sod, she told him to hold for a moment and then she came back on and told him that they had sold the sod already and they would not be able to order more.
A week and a half later we were driving by and saw the 2 pallets of sod sitting there. Either they had not sold it even though she said they did, or they ordered more when they told us they could not. We filed a complaint with the BBB.
