May 4 - 2006 had a rep come out and give me a quote on Berber carpet for my stairs. 5500 for hardwood in a 18x17 ft wood - what a rip off, 3200 for a 9x9 living room!!! Berber for upstairs hall and stairs 900, reasonable.
Bear in mind, when we moved into our home, we paid 500 to upgrade the padding under our carpet. Per the salesperson, we were NOT allowed to keep our exsisting padding, that any new carpet required new padding... According to the installers, and the customer service rep - HE WAS WRONG. He never called us bak, and I want our 500 dollars back for the upgradded padding the installers had to rip up. I will not order again.
