I found this company in the Flyer under Roofing. They were supposed to fix my flat patio roof that had rotten wood and rotted fascia all around where a screen enclosure had once been before the hurricane ruined it. I showed them everywhere I wanted fixed and then they wrote up the estimate, which I found a bit pricey, but since they were able to get to work on it very quickly I agreed.
Gus Ranko was the person I dealt with and all contact numbers were to him, plus he had me write out the deposit check to him, so I thought he must own the company. The day he did the work, he calls me at work to tell me he found additional rotted wood and the price would increase to fix that. I came home to find them all packed up like the job was complete, but there was still a whole area that they had not repaired.
Gus Ranko tries telling me that was not part of the agreement, that it didn't need fixed, that he put a nail in it and it's fine. My husband showed him where the fascia was rotted and his nail was loose, plus I reminded him that I'd showed him that when he gave us the estimate and told him at that time that I'd wanted it done. So he said fine, that he would fix it within the next couple of days, that it was only a half hour job. However, multiple calls and multiple promises by him later he never did show up and complete the job.
