Don't just be tricked by the cheap prices in overstock.com. They sell defective products, and provide very bad Customer Services. I recently spent over 500$ on some bedroom furnitures, and paid $29.95 for membership. According to them, memebership shall provide me further discounts as well as priority in Customer Services. Half way through assembling, I found out that we missed some pieces. I called them right away, and was told they would send them to us. A week went by while the same product was being sold on the site, and I called back, well, case still pending. I called back a few more times within the next couple of weeks, and eventually, had to ask them to escalate. They did. Three days later, I received emails sent from overstock, regarding UPS Label Delivery. Not sure what that is about. Called them back, and found out they can't send me the missing pieces, and I have to return the furniture back.
My request of asking them to pick them up directly was rejected. They asked me to de-assemble the furniture and put them back in boxes, and sent them back through UPS. The Supervisor I was speaking to agreed that it wasn't my fault, de-assembling was nearly-impossible and definitely damaging to the furniture, and finding a big enough box was very difficult, but he said he couldn't do anything, and insisted on me paying for all these (labor and getting boxes). I was obviously very upset by now, and asked to withdraw my membership, but was told no refund for that either.
All in all, I just felt betrayed by all their commericials and overstatement on their services. I also have to remind people of reading their product reviews. Don't be fooled by their good reviews associated with their products. They are displayed only after being filtered. Pls be very careful of doing any purchases in overstock.com. They have bad products and terrible Customer Services.
