My wife hired them to fix our air conditioner when I was out of town. They charged $300 for a capacitor that they replaced. When I got home and saw the bill, I called a local appliance parts store and asked how much they would charge for the same capacitor. They said it would be about $16.
When I asked Marthedral for a partial refund they were very snotty and refused. They finally, very grudgingly gave back $65, but I still felt extremely ripped off.
I think they feel they can take advantage of women, figuring a woman would hear the word "capacitor" and figure it's pretty important sounding, so it must be expensive. So they charge an outrageous price and probably get away with it all too often.
