I bought a violin from Overstock.com. When it came it was very defective. I initiated a return and they were to email a shipping lab to return the product. They said that I would recieve it in 24-48 hours,
Nearly 2 week and several phone calls later they still have not send the label. Their return policy is on their website. It is supposed to be a quick and simple process but it appears that is not the case.
Customer service reads from a script when you call them and if you ask any question that is not on their script they give you an answer to a completely different question.
They blame the problems on their warehouse which is said to be also in Salt Lake City but one item was shipped from National City, CA and the other from Avon, OH.
After you initiate a return they then tell you that their will be a restocking fee if the warehouse finds the product not to be defective.
I had a shipping problem with another product but it eventually came and was worth the wait but this time it is turning out to be a real rip-off. I just want a FULL refund so I can buy my daughter a funtional violin.
