Sears broken part replacement - Kitchaid dishwashe

My Kithchenaid dishwasher has a broken cover where we pour the Rinseaid liquid. I tried calling their 1-800 number got connected after holding for twenty minutes. Before I could even tell what my problem was, the line got disconnected. I chatted online with someone who promised that he will arrange to mail the part in about a week. Since I did not get the part after two weeks I called their parts division and they said there was no order or any transaction regarding my complaint in the system. Then I called the number they gave me and lodged a complaint again. They scheduled a technician to visit my home to replace the part. One Ron came without the part saying he did not have the info that the cover was broken. Then he tried looking his manual in the computer and gave me a printout saying that was the order copy. The part arrived in a week, but did not fit. Again, I called them and told about the wrong part. He wanted me to tell the part number so that he can place an order. There is no part number in the manual that they gave me. I told him that they were the experts and they are asking me for the part number. A week later someone called and said they still don't have the part number and will ask Ron for the same. It is over two weeks after that and I still have no communications from Sears.

My dishwasher is under warranty and also I have an extended warranty fro Sears.

My dishes don't get dried fully because of this and I am so frustrated.
