Dishonest Auto-Renewal - Customer Service and Billing

After purchasing my 2nd MagicJack and setting it up, I was happy with the service. This was until I received an email saying that it was due for "AUTO-RENEWAL" and that $20.01 would be charged to my credit card on the date etc.

Of course I was caught totally off guard since I always believe in a company firstly SEEKING your approval before charging anything to your credit card... Not just telling you "Hey... I'm going to charge this to your credit card". I contacted MagicJack on this issue and their representative told me that the default feature on the MagicJack setting is set to "Auto-Renew". I was never aware of this and MagicJack made no effort in informing the customer of this. I find this default "Auto-Renew" setting to be extremely audacious and very dishonest and not forthcoming whatsoever for MagicJack's service. Very disappointing.
