HP service center need to improve

On 21th of July I sent my laptop to a HP pickup center after experiencing startup problem. After 2 days i received an email about the HP support center had received my laptop and will handle the repair of my laptop. Everything sound good so far, but the bad experience is coming next.

After 4 days of waiting, someone from HP called me and info me that the laptop warranty has expired, and i need to pay for the repair and the new replacement part. I told him i had purchased the extended warranty of 2 years during the purchase of my laptop and had already registered the warranty on the day of purchase and will be sending them the invoice of the laptop with the extended warranty next day.

Another week had passed, and after losing my patience i decided to email to the same person that i had sent the invoice, only to receive his email answering why the process is so slow due to the verifying of the invoice with the extended warranty. Also he informed me my replacement part has just been ordered. (note the amount of time that has pass been 9 days so far)

After the last reply from the service center, i decided to call them up after 5 days to check on the laptop status. The service center reply me that my laptop is ready to be collect, and i question them how come i am not inform of this, they say my laptop has just been repair finish. I decided to take a cab down to collect my laptop since the HP service center is really far, and upon reaching the service center i'm been informed that my laptop is still under repair! After questioning them how come they replied to my call that the laptop was repaired, the reply is just that there's a mistake and just tell me a simple sorry and they will send me back my laptop to my home after it is fully repaired.

I can understand that HP is a big brand in the computer market, and maybe they really need a good amount of time to repair a laptop. But can't they even make a correct decision on if my laptop is ready to be collect? Wasting a half day leave to go down to the HP service center with the cab fare amounting to S$13 just to receive such a new is really having an effect on my confident on purchasing any HP product in the future. (14 working days is a lot by the way, and i not even adding in any of the half-working days such as Saturday)
