I called on Tuesday, 9/8/09 and was working with Kashif in the HP support center; I was having difficulty locating the source from which I had ordered my HP J6840 Officejet All-In-One Printer, the invoice and date. However, I had filled out the on-line registration on 1/9/09, the day I had received the printer. While I appreciate that some people may wait a long period prior to registering their produt, I had noted on my HP set-up disc that I had received the printer on the above date. After Kashif and I had had a lengthy conversation, he gave me the above reference number and told me to call: 1-800-999-4747, as they could help me locate the source from which I had purchased the printer, by serial number. As it had been a very lengthy conversation, I dailed the number I was given, only to find it was a SEX line. I find Kashif's behavior to be rehensible, thhoroughly unprofessional, and, an insult. I do not believe such behavior should be tolerated. I would not suggest how your department should handle this incident, however, if he were my employee, he would be immediately terminated from your company.
