My HP a6000n computer died after a few years, requiring replacement of the motherboard. When working the machine met my needs, so I replaced the motherboard. I decided at the time to upgrade from Vista to Windows. Now I have a couple hundred dollars more into the machine. Now the motherboard has failed again!
Going to HP's website, I find no way to lodge a complaint with the company. One can get technical assistance, but I want them to know just how unhappy I am. No amount of technical assistance is going to fix the motherboard! I am stuck with useless hardware and my investment in upgrading the software is also lost, since it isn't transferable. I really want some modest amount of compensation from HP. Perhaps a updated motherboard at discounted price with operating software to go with it.
