On May 31 I purchased a 2003 Toyota ECHO with automatic power windows and door locks. The vehicle delivered to me on June 1 lacked the automatic power features that were agreed upon at the time of purchase. I have attempted on numerous occasions to arrive at an amicable solution with the dealership but to no avail.
However, on August 24 after numerous phone calls, I spoke to a General Manager who made an offer to settle at $500.00. This offer was unacceptable since I paid approximately $1,500.00 for these features. I have further contacted Toyota Headquarters in Turrance, California, to date this issue remains unresolved.
