On a trip to Asheville with my daughter I stopped at the grab n go on Tunnel rd. We picked this gas station because it was 3.75 per gallon on the sign. As we pulled in we learn it required a car wash in order to be 3.75. Still thinking it was a good deal. I swiped my card, chose a car wash, and noticed the pump read 3.95 per gallon. I asked the very unfriendly attendant why it says 3.95 and she told me she did not know. I decided to pump and if it was not correct I would go inside.
After I filled up it was not correct. I ask the grumpy attendant to please correct my charge. She told me there was nothing she could do. Long story short I told her I pulled in this gas station because of the price. She needed to honor the price. She told me NO! I tried to explain I was being ripped off. She said Oh well!
I work very hard for my money. I save and cut coners any way I can to make ends meet. It is sad in this time that gas stations can false advertise a price to get costumers in and not honor it. Plus with soo many people needing jobs it is given to a person with absolutely no customer service skills.
