I was surcharged 8 extra cents a gallon for paying with credit card. What a "estafa"!!!
I pulled in gas station where regular gas advertised $3.15999 per gallon and asked attendant for $40 prepaid with my Discover Card, he did charge my credit card and handled a receipt, when I got back to the pump, the pump electronic display had changed from $3.15 a gallon to $3.23 a gallon, I went inside the convenient store to claim the attendant, then he told me the surcharge was taking place because the use of a credit card..."no sorry", no apologizing, I felt they stole me with no respect to a customer right to be noticed ahead of time of extra charges..
What a frustation, there was no advise, no signs, no notice for that type of action at store!
First time in the 30 years I reside in the states...
Just be aware of that place, if they do that to gas price... What else to expect.
If you are visiting Miami and have to fill the tank, ask first..
