Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions - Phoenix Hard Parts Does it really take 8 weeks to get a working transmission?

Just like most of the other usacomplaints. Coms I have read, I found this company on ebay. They promise all kinds of quality testing and an extended warranty. Took over 13 days just to get the first transmission to me. Somehow with all the testing they managed to send me a unit that does not have second gear.

My attempts at "tech service" took three days until I got a phone call. This is where all my out of pocket expenses and headaches began. I had all the tests performed they requested, and then they finally decided they may have a faulty part. Then they shipped a replacement valve body assembly to supposedly fix my problem. Meanwhile I have a wife losing days of work and I am racking up a large mechanical bill. Waited over a week to get the part (tech guy said 2nd day air) and then we had to get it installed. At this point I am 6 weeks without a correct transmission. Part did nothing but increase my mechanical bill.

Had to send 57 emails to get a response telling me I would get a replacement transmission. Its been almost 8 weeks now and my "new" transmission is not here.

They have the "nice, professional, customer service guy" in contact with me now. He has told me they will do nothing to reimburse me for all the lost money and time. If you go on ebay, you better have 2 or 3 months before you need a transmission that works. WHATEVER MONEY YOU THINK YOU ARE SAVING, MAY GO TO YOUR MECHANIC FOR MULTIPLE INSTALLATIONS.

I See there are quite a few reports on this company now and wonder how many more people have been jacked around. How many people does it take to get a class action suit? Many of us have lost much money and more importantly time, trying to get a simple part that was paid for up front.
