Phoenix Remanufactured Transmissions
Sent transmission with faulty rear planet gear and not willing to help with labor charge for installing and removing transmission. Will not rufund $750 core charge

I paid for transmission on May 22, the transmission was received in Knoxville, TN over 5 weeks later. Phoenix had put in a bad rear planet gear which was found by Speedy Transmission after installation.

Speedy Transmission had to remove the transmission and send it back to Phoenix at which time they also sent the old transmission (core). The transmission Shop had to charge me labor for removal and second installation which came to almost $600 extra because of bad planet gear.

I have been trying to get Phoenix Remanufactured Transmission to cover the extra labor cost with no results. Phoenix also has not refunded the $750 core charge that I had to pay up front.
