My auto loan used to be with Fireside, but Consumer Portfolio Services took over and changed my due date without telling me and then told me that I was up to date. So on 12-15 they called to see when my payment will be made. I told them that I would make it on 12-23-11 when I got paid.
They stated that wasn't ok and then proceeded to tell me that I am behind and needed to make a payment and quite being a loser and hung up on me.
When I went to make my payment on 12-23-11 I called and was on hold to speak to someone for 1 and 1/2 hours and finally gave up. I have been calling back everyday and getting the same thing until today.
I finally got a hold of Irene again and she told me that I am being charged 15% late fee for my payment for this month and next month which is not do until 1-5-12. When I asked how she stated that"s how they do things and hung up on me!
And now when I call back to get answers they don't speak to me and just hang up on me!
