I went to the NTB in Crystal Lake, IL today for an oil change. First I had to defend my right to a free tire rotation. I was told that they would give my car a good going over and let me know if anything needed to be repaired. At this time, my brake light and check engine light are both on and there is a constant stream of anti freeze leaking. I assumed that I would be told what these lights are on for and why I have a pool of anti freeze in my driveway every morning... After waiting and seeing my car sitting in an empty shop, mine was the only car there... For an hour and a half, as a pool of anti freeze was under the car, I could see it dripping from the waiting room... I watched my oil change and tire rotation completed. I never saw anyone look at anything else on my car. When I went to the desk to pay, I expected to hear something about why these lights are on... Nothing, I was told that for the age of my car, it's in tip top shape, and I would need a fuel system service the next time I had my oil changed. Really? Why are lights on if my car is in tip top shape? Why do I have to carry anti freeze in my back seat? I'll never go here again. Apparently the personnel there know less than I about cars...
