I went to Miami Motors about 4 years ago to get a car. I just started driving and just wanted a car.
I had a Dodge Shadow a first and the engine was going bad. So I decided to go to Miami Motors to get a car. They said that they buy cars.
I only had $1000.00 to put down and my credit was good. I needed a co-signer and that's why I came there. All of their cars are overpriced.
I was very uneasy about getting a car from them. They pressured you into a car. I ended with a 89 Oldsmobile Cutless. It looked nice on the outside but the inside was terrible.
The first day I got the car it ran okay. The next day the car started to run hot! The temp. Gauge was always in the red. I called them on Monday and they told me to take it to their mechanic.
He was a F-ing JERK. He told my boyfriend that the car had no anti freeze. The next it did the same thing, but my dad looked at it and said the oil and anti freeze are mixing which are signs of BAD HEAD GASKETS.
I took the car back to them and they told my to take it back to the mech, who drained all the oil out of the car. Then said there is no oil mixing w / the anti freeze.
I wanted my money back. I was not past due on any payment and the car was still under the warranty and they would not give me my money.
I worked at a law firm and I got an attorney to call there a say a few things.
After it was all said and done. They wanted me to choose another car and be okay with that. They nothing I wanted, and they price limited I had was very little from all of the deductions.
The millage was a deduction and the car radio that my boyfriend had took out was a deduction. I ended up having to choose a car for $500.00.
The car I left with did not even work. Once I got it home it stop working.
I was ripped off.
Please do not go to Miami Motors because they SUCK.
They also scammed me with the insurance, they told me I would be paying one price and when the insurance bill came in, it was twice the price.
