I was in a auto accident that was not my fault, and Progressive will not pay to have my car fixed like they should

On 05/28 I was involed in a auto accident. I was driving down a road when the truck that was in front of me stopped. I stopped too with plenty of space between us; however, the truck suddenly backed up and hit me. The speed of the accident was about maybe ten miles an hour. No one was hurt, but the front of my car was damaged. Michigan State police was called and responded to the accident. The other driver stated that he was at fault for not looking behind him before he backed up. I drove the car home; a 2003 ford Taurus. I report a claim online, and was called by April at Progressive Auto Insurance. A few days later Jason Dalton came to my home to look at the damage to the car. A few days after that, I received an estimate with a check in the mail for the repairs to the car. I was told that I could take the car to Autobody USA in Coldwater, MI; which I did. However, the next day I was told that the repairs were on hold because Progressive was applying a deductible of $1,000.00 instead of $500.00 as originally stated. Evidently they confused my 2003 Ford Taurus SEL with my daughters 2003 Ford Taurus SE (which is also on the policy). The deductible on my daughters car is $1,000.00; while mine is $500.00. On top of all that confusion, I thought the deductible was being paid by the other drivers insurance company. This was all worked out the next day and repairs were once again approved. To my surprise, the day after that, the repairs were put back on hold becuse of a claim I closed in Nov.in that incident, I was driving down the road and hit a deer. The deer ran in front of my car out of the corn field on one side of the road, was hit, and then ran into another corn field on the other side of road. It was not killed. My car (the 2003 Ford Taurus SEL) had a dent in the hood, similar to if some one had sat down on it hard. There was also damage to one of my cooling fans the plastic around the fan moter was cracked at the place where it bolts in place, making it loose. There was no other damage to the car, and it was drivable. Progressive was contacted and a claim was filed. I then remembered that I had a $1,000.00 deductible for deer collision, and a $500.00 deductible for collision with another car. So I closed the claim, knowing there was not that much damage to the car. I bought a used fan moter and tryed to get the dent out of the car my self. The dent was allmost gone but you could still see it a little bit. Progressive now states that no repairs will take place on the car until I provide proof that all the damage did not result from the accident with the deer in November.
