If you look at Gibson's website to find a truck, don't bother checking on the black Ford F150 that is listed. Stock number 30197. I bought it 2 months ago. I bet you'll find that with many of the vehicles on their website. Upon arrival you'll see that they don't have near the stock that they advertise.
Within the first week, after purchasing our truck we experienced grinding when we turned the key. This happened a couple times. (Nope the truck wasn't already running either.)
Gibson kept it overnight and called us to report that there was nothing wrong with the fly wheel. But they didn't bother to check the starter. Nope. This was clearly a problem with the truck when we bought it. When you drive off the lot with your purchase, you are ON YOUR OWN.
They say that, if you find something wrong bring it back and they will fix it. Bringing it back to them is not the problem. Getting them to admit that there is something that needs to be fixed... Well that's another thing.
Took the truck to a local reputable garage. They said that it'll cost $487.00 for the starter to be replace. Thanks for nothing Gibson.
